The S-Works Aethos chassis has been designed to create the perfect combination of driving quality, lightness and style - to accelerate even on steep climbs, to get off the more technical descents and to be comfortable even during long Sunday outings. But you ask yourself, how did we do it? We re-invented the traditional shape of the racing bike of the past, changing it slightly to optimize stiffness and balance, without compromising weight or strength. With a completely new lay-up, perfected over many decades, you get the lightest chassis on the market (585 grams for the S-Works chassis size 56). The Aethos is more than just a new bike, it’s the beginning of a new generation.

A lightweight chassis is useless if the driving characteristics do not inspire confidence. That’s why for the Aethos we looked for the perfect mix of front and rear stiffness in relation to driving quality. By studying the flexibility and every little detail of carbon fibers, we found out a lot about how forces go through the frame. Just a few strokes of the pedal will make you realize that the Aethos represents a new standard of driving.

Every detail, from the gearbox support to the expander on the attack, has been designed according to style, weight and resistance. We also provided the Alpinist carbon fiber seat post to trim additional weight and optimize driving characteristics - all for perfect driveability.
