ASSOS Salopette Mille GTO C2

In the Salopette Mille GTO C2 has been combined the case back with maximum support, the insulation from the minimum footprint and the targeted protection to create the tights with suspenders Winter Bib Tights, from the regular cut, perfect in the harshest weather conditions.

For the first winter tights Assos designed specifically to offer maximum protection, was developed the two-layer Impactor structure to protect the hips. Thanks to the dyneRope anti-wrinkle fabric, and the removable impactPads, now more flexible and breathable, the tights create a new standard to face the harshest winter conditions: integrated abrasion resistance, shock protection and friction-free comfort.

OSMOS Heavy, the main fabric of the tights, guarantees maximum insulation thanks to the brushed side in contact with the skin. The blasenSchutz front panel consists of two layers of twinDeck from OSMOS Light and SPHERE Ultra Hole, The stretch softshell fabric with membrane and micro holes that eliminate excess heat ensuring additional protection from cold wind and road splashes.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT

For the suspenders and leg panels, the rollbar technology and the butterfly panel were used to ensure stability. Each panel is enriched by the louvreTec structure, with specific shots on the outside of the thighs, to provide a compressive and personalized seal.

zeroWaist: belt with taped edge reinforced cut, which ensures there are no rubbing between fabric and skin. Greater comfort with less pressure.

superflat X-FRAME: a single portion of elastic folded on itself, which forms an X-shaped support structure, with the aim of limiting the vertical elasticity in the back.

waterBarrier: our outermost layer in Geoprene applied on the lower leg to protect it from water and adhere to shoe covers.

impactPad: new flexible and removable thermoplastic polyurethane padding, with a perforated surface to increase breathability and freedom of movement.

MILLE GTO c2 Insert case back: created with our proven goldenGate technology, free from side seams, and with the necessary recessed seams for frictionless comfort. For the front was used the new lightweight sundeck, heir of the iconic kukuPenthouse: a super soft fabric on the skin, foam-free, preformed cup to support the anatomical shapes of man, ensuring maximum ventilation. In addition, this case back is equipped with the twin21 System consisting of three different layers:

microShock: the base of the case back consists of an ultralight foam with a thickness of 11 millimeters and a composition highly cushioning.

filterFoam: Between the microShock layer and the 3D waffle, a low density matrix foam with a thickness of 10 millimeters has been inserted to completely absorb the micro-vibrations. The open cell structure allows the elimination of excess sweat.

3D waffle: in contact with skin is used a patented foam, perforated, three-layer, which increases breathability and reduces excess weight.

We recommend that you wear the tights with GTO straps for longer winter rides. In case of extreme cold and rain, wear them under the MILLE GT Thermo Rain Shell Pants and match them with the most appropriate jacket to get maximum protection from the weather.
